Manual or automatic conversion

The software lets you convert PDF files to text, spreadsheet or image formats, or convert files in batches, even protected files. You can choose even, odd or custom pages to convert or delete, or move the original files after conversion.

If you want to use the automatic option, set up single or multiple watch folders. The converter will run in the background and process all PDF files placed in these folders, using the same features as manual conversion.

Conversion reports

The software creates a detailed report of all conversion processes and lets you export the data. Within the report, you can filter information by manual, automatic, or all types of conversions. You can also search for successful or failed conversion or search using a specified date range.

User interface

The software offers a simple user interface. At the top, you select the type of file you want to convert to, from Word, RTF, XML, TXT, TIFF, JPEG or PNG. Alternatively, you can select the Auto Job for automatic conversion.

Underneath is another toolbar to let you search by process type or conversion status. If you want to export a report, choose the export file type from the dropdown list or clear the data.

It displays details about the converted files, like:

• Input File
• Input and Output Directory
• Process Time
• Type, Status, Format, and Page Type

Auto Jobs provides an orange toolbar to add, edit, or delete a job. You can choose to restart a job, run it on startup, activate or delete them, or view the log. It lists details under Job Name, Watching Directory, Destination Directory and Status.

The software creates detailed reports about all completed processes, which you can filter or export the data in different formats.

Our Convert to PDF/A function is really a testimony of how sophisticated our parsing and editing PDF technology is. It can convert most PDF documents to a PDF/A-compliant document that are ready for storing and archiving. There are exceptions of course and we might not be able to fix & convert all PDF documents…
Here is how to convert a PDF to PDF/A online:

• To start, Click on Choose File to select your PDF file
• Under Options, Choose the PDF/A format you would like to convert to: PDF/A-1b, PDF/A-2b or PDF/A-3b
• Click on Start which will upload your file and start the conversion process
• Start button becomes Download button when the process is finished
• Click on Download to start downloading the resulting PDF to your device
